Is military might ever misused? Yes!

Is military might ever necessary? Yes!

Is military might ever used for good? Yes!

Is military might ever going to be non existant? No!

Without a U.S. military you would be a slave.

Take out the political, corporate and idealistic agendas and just use war for defense. I agree. Easier said than done.

Until people are more valuable than money nothing will change.

But this all goes back to who "we the people" installed in political office. Turn off X-box, Playstation, American Idol... Get off the couch and help get these self centered bozos out of office. Do your homework on candidates without relying on Fox or MSNBC or the rest of the talking heads for your political savy. Find and install honest, loyal and committed candidates and judges who believe in the value of people over money but do not believe in entitlements or socialisms and we can have an honorable society and government.

Thank God that not all vets feel the same way that he does! If they did there probably wouldn't be a USA left today. God bless those brave men and women giving their all for this country every day!!! I don't know how someone could give a speech like that.

Iraq is a waste of money that could be better spent actually benefiting this country, you know the one we pay taxes for

I'm not exactly thrilled about my tax dollars being spent fixing some other countries problems

Unless you live under a rock the biggest man made disaster since Chernobyl is unfolding right along our borders and its not being fixed. Worry about that instead of a bunch of towel heads in the desert.

Even better yet put those troops on border patrol, thats a real solution to terrorism, if you never let the bastards into the country IN THE FIRST PLACE, they can't commit acts of terrorism

So with that said, does that mean they can't hijack planes out of the country and fly them into USA and destroy/kill the same they did back in 01?


I agree keep them out (bad ones), but it's not fair to keep the good ones out. The country was founded on this principle.

A lot of things in this country need to be fixed and its a shame that the military and peoples patriotism have been misused for greed..I think everything has a place..And once greedy millionaires and oil men etc are moved out of the picture, and a system is put in place for immigrants among other things then the US will be a better place... Until then take care of you and those close to you and hang on for the ride...
