?? About changing timing chain

Hello, I'm getting my timing chain replaced and I noticed on one of the gears that a few of the plastic teeth are missing. SHould I have my mechinac friend take my oil pan off and make sure that none of the teeth are in the pan?

Oil pan should come off, clean it out, get any junk off the pickup screen. Do the rear main seal too.

I already had the rear main seal done last summer.

Definitely drop the pan and either clean or replace the pickup screen.

You gotta remove the pan anyway. It's almost impossible to remove the front cover without losing some coolant down there. I'd replace the pickup also.
