About to go electric water pump

Took it out for a test drive .

Ran good everything worked as it should. Temps looked the same as they did with the mechanical pump.

Hope this thread helps those considering putting an electric water pump on

Did you drill the bypass holes in your thermostat flange?

Been there done that. The older I get , the less I like the cold

I like my 65 degree winters

The 119 summers get a bit ruff tho

I used to run one of those. Always worked well.

I also ran a pump for a while that goes in the radiator hose. I ended up taking a stock water pump and cutting off the impeller so it basiclly just drove the belt. That also worked pretty well.
