ABS/SRS reader

Hello everyone. My dam 1997 jeep Grand is getting an ABS light. So, i went looking for an ABS/SRS ccode reader. I found out the only reader which can give me this info are between $1500 to $3000. Does anyone know of a code reader which can read ABS/SRS without me having to get a second job to pay it off. Car Manufacturers are really putting the do-it-yourselfers like us in a corner.
