I'm looking for a new AC Accumulator for a 1978 Buick LeSabre Sports Coupe 3.8 Turbo. Any information would be useful, original part number, location of NOS part etc. Thanks in advance for any info.

Rockauto? That accumulator was used on every GM passenger car from 1977 until 1984. It's not an uncommon part (Unless you're not in the USA).

GM NOS probably not going to be easy to find. Most of that stock would have been run through in the 1990s with people doing R134 conversions. But they didn't have any distinct markings on them, so who's going to be able to tell?

Thanks for the reply. GM does have a similar looking piece # 15-1681 but it has an extra port, which is probably of no consequence, but I can't determine if the threads are the same.
Yes, I'm in Canada and can't get my greasy hands on it check it out.
Rock Auto does not list it for my car so it my be incompatible.
