I did a search because I thought there was a thread on this but had no luck. Where is a good place to mount the controller and does it have to be out in the open or can it be out of sight?? Pics of your install would be great:) Thanks for the input

Which one?

The one with TEST? or the one that normally goes under the dash?

I wasn't worried about hiding mine so we just put it like this.

Sorry for it being sideways, posting from mobile and it won't let me change it.

Thanks for the pics:cool: I just got my kit today and opened it up:D The controller is smaller than I thought. This section might get busy with all my posts as I learn how to play with this new toy:eek: Thanks again

Don't put in ashtray you'll run the rest of setting of the test button

Thanks for the ideas. If it ever gets done snowing up here I might get the drive to get out in the garage and work on the car:rolleyes:

I like where I have my controller , on the left lower dash and scanmaster on the right lower dash to right of steering wheel. They work good there on a TTA.

Not quite hidden, but a little more integrated I guess. I have a low option car so I just cut a slot and 2 way taped the face plate.

Contact Julio at AlkyControl and he can send you a new decal which will eliminate the face plate and sit more flush. Check out mine in the 9th post.

Would have liked to go that route but I already had a misplaced hole is was trying to cover up in the trim plate. This wouldn't allow me to disassemble the faceplate and mount it flush to the panel.

Variation on the dash mounted setup. I like it. Don't mind the mess, it's much better now.
