That's a handy work rack you have pictured. A note to others... Do not perform this work on any concrete you would like to keep clean. Sweeping & a shop vacuum is not enough to remove the iron. You will know shortly after water hits that area.

In completing the work I actually bounced back and forth between the ports, pockets, chambers and runners so the photo dates are going to be all over the place. For the sake of having some sense of order I'll continue with the progression of exhaust side and come back to the intake side later.

See how the first exhaust port design (top header in photo) mirrors the factory headers. Gasket shapes and sizes differ from the shape of the header and port so be careful of hogging out the port to a random gasket. The ATR (lower header in photo) is a better fit to the current port design.
