ok heres my prob..i bought a set of adj control arms, upper and lower from a friend off a tr...the prob is i took my stock lowers off to compare them to the adj units.with the lowers adjusted all the way in are still about an inch longer than the stockers.... give or take a little...is that ok or not? i think the units are pro traction, pro trax or something like that..the stickers are about gone off of them....is this ok to go ahead and put them on or do i need to leave them off? i was wondering with them adjusted all the way in and they're still longer than the stock ones if thats the way they're supposed to be? thanks..

If you put them on like that you're going to have to adjust the uppers back an inch also or you'll be looking at a helacious negative pinion angle.

So once you move the top of the rear end to match the bottom you'll have relocated the complete rear end back one inch. Which would mean you'd need another drive shaft I would think....and depending on which tires you have they may rub. The geometry of the shocks and the springs would be different also.

In my opinion it would be better to get different lowers...or just have your stockers boxed. you really don't need adjustable lowers unless you WANT to relocate the rear end or if it tracks improperly.
