Hello!

Just wondering why i should adj. the IAC after a chipchange?
What is changing the setup with a different chip?

And if i don´t do this, how will the car perform then?

Thanks!

Depends on the chip.
Clear the ecm install the new chip and drive it.
If the idle seems substandard then do the min idle speed IAC TPS adjustment. Might note what the specs were with the old chip before changing, just so you have a baseline to return to if the new chip isn't acceptable.

It´s set with a Thrasher 92 street and i´m gonna mount a Thrasher strip chip, guess it´s not necessarily to do this adj. then?
Have done this change earlier and it´s looks fine on idle.

Just something i recently read and started to wonder.......

Thanks!

The other TTA one of my friends purchased last weekend........with help from me!:D
It´s a 13.000 mile car and most of that miles has been from Sweden-Spain-Sweden, car has been sitting for 10 years in Spain.
The swede had a house down in Spain where they spended some of the summer.

Here´s a few pics of my friends "new" TTA.

Ahh yes much better:D

Those are two very nice looking TTA's you guys have. I don't suppose there are very many Gn's running around there either.

That's very cool, 1 of 2! For a while I was thinking of moving to Greece and bringing my Firebird with me... Just so people would see my car and say "what the hell was that?"

Uffe,

Those are two very cool videos! And you laid the smack down on that Cuda:) I bet he couldn't believe it!! I didnt realize you guys had musclecars like that over there. Very interesting stuff indeed. How long have you had your TTA? What mods, and what kind of times? Do you guys have dragstrips/ tracks there? Any GRand Nationals around? I can't get over that second video, don't you just love these cars??

Edit we may get this moved to the lounge, but thats ok:)
