I need some help with the installation of the roller cam button that came with my roller cam kit from full throttle. The pic below shows what I have. Which end goes in the cam end and which one rides on the timing cover? No installation pics with the kit. also I have the shims and a dial indicator, just need to know how it goes together.

The piece touching your thumb and index finger goes into the snout of the camshaft. Gently tap it in into place with a rubber mallet or equivalent. Be sure its seated. The cam button on the left faces the front of the timing cover. Just like its shown in the pic.

Make sure you get the correct endplay clearance. I think mine was about .008. Took me a couple tries but not too bad. I used a dial indicator gauge with the timing cover and gasket in place to measure the end play.

HTH.
