I heard that a bad diaprhram in the w.g can cause overboost. Is it possible for a bad actuator to cause no boost or slow spool? Thanks

I would assume that if the actuator is leaking it could cause slow spool, also along the same lines as-
Vac. lines

After fixing all of the above on my brothers car, it spools fast
:D

A leak in the wastegate diaphragm or any of the wastegate lines will prevent the diaphragm from pushing on the rod to open the wastegate. You will lose control of boost, and the turbo will take off on its own. Don't ask me how I know
