I doubt you will find a place in California that will paint with lacquer, and I would advise against it, anyway.

But that's just me.

Maybe I'm ancient but often thought that Imron would be good for a daily driver.
Super tough with a good shine. What say y'all?

I haven't seen it used since the '90's. It was made to be the "toughest" paint out there, back in the day. It's also one of the most toxic paint materials out there. Again, I doubt you will find anyone that will use it in California.
