I would personally handle it like this:
pry the fenders off with a crowbar,and put jack stands on the frame just behind the firewall. Leave the front wheels on, and cut the frame just in front of the firewall. This way, it will be easier to move the engine around while still attached to the NEW sub frame. Cheaper this way than buying an engine stand. You can use the frame like a wheel barrel. But that's just me.....
