Advice on what's needed to run a 6766

Hey all!
I bought a 87 turbo t from a buddy and have done the basic upgrades like:
Hotwire kit
340 AEM
Adjustable regulator HO alternator
42# injectors

He has a 6766 that is new and said I can get it for $1500 (new $2500 when purchased)
Was wondering if it's a good buy and if I have enough mods to support it.

If you're not going to run 25+ psi, that turbo will be laggier than the stock one and not make much more power. The car will feel slower driving around. What converter? You'll need bigger injectors. Is e85 available in your area or do you plan to install an alcohol injection system?

That’s not a turbo for a stock heads and cam car not to even mention the Converter.

Te44 or a 5858 ,6262 is the biggest turbo id go with.
