I picked this up on ebay for a real cheap price

Now I need to find a Trans Filter that will fit in it right.

Stock one is not going to hang down far enough or I dont think it will and I dont want to screw my trans up.

This holds 2 qt more fluid than stock is 3 3/8 deep and has little pads or feet at the bottom I am guessing for the filter to set on.

Photos below are of the pan

Thanks for the info / help

use a 700r4 filter. you may have to grind the 4 tabs in the pan down just a little.

Just any 700r4 or from a truck someone said the truck filter is longer??
Thanks
they are all the same. make sure to remove the old seal from the neck of the filter. it will stay up in the pump. and buy a good brand name.

yes but remember to get the 2004r pan gasket. thanks. Len

does anybody make a kit for the 700 filter and 200 pan?
MOST of the time hughes 2004r pan kits come with a 7004r filter. sometimes they come with a 200 filter. if you order it from nick @ arizona gn. you could ask him to make sure it has a 700 filter. nick's number is 602 866 9908.
