Hooked up autometer boost gauge to the map sensor. (t'd off of it) and i get no reading on gauge. any help??? i have plenty off vacuum pulling at the end of the line by the gauge so no kinks. I took an air hose and sprayed it in the gauge and it works...??? do some gauges need push instead of pull air?

You need a boost gauge to read boost, which you have?, you need a vacuum gauge to read vacuum, which you don't have?, or you need a combination vacuum-boost gauge to read both on the same gauge. Look in the Autometer or Summit catalogue for proper gauge use. HTH
