Was wondering if it is possible or a good idea to run my aftermarket dual electric fans off the original engine temp switch for the relay trigger. Also wondering at shat temp does the switch activate and deactivate at. I'm considering doing it this way over through the factory harness because I am missing the fan relays and delay plus I already have a new aftermarket dual fan relay kit that I purchased with the fan. And the previous owner cut the fan harness connector off for some reason

The switch that goes into the intake is there to fire up the fans if the ECM doesn't for some reason. The setting is kind of high if I remember right (though I don't remember the exact value).

At any rate it's probably much higher than what you will want the fans to come on at.

So in your opinion what's going to be the best way to run the fans, should I just run a switch inside the car and control them manually. I don't like the kits that have the probe u stick between the radiator cores I don't think they will be all that accurate once the fans start running
