On my 1990 G20 Two summers ago while moving the Van on my driveway (smooth paved surface)
I turn the wheel and POP 2 of the 3 bolts that hold the steering gear box on the frame brake and the last one looked like spaghetti.
Last year my other work truck "1987 G-20" the same thing happened while pulling out of a parking spot (and no I didn't hit the side walk or anything else) just by turning the steering wheel
Today for the second time on my way to work my 1990 broke 2 bolts and twisted the last one.
It took me 45 minutes to get home from 2 blocks away.
The last two times I had this problem I replaced all 3 of the bolts with OEM bolts (GM dealer $9.00 each) and correct application.
So form where can I get Stronger bolts from?
Has anyone else had this problem?
This ship really scares the crap out of me
