:mad: thank you steve Im going to screw with my tlink tonight and see if I can get it to recieve the data. my lap top sucks ass. all the tlinks I sold and they work for everyone else but me..

retrieve the mal function code from the dash and go from there.
 
I changed the fuel filter and it still has a surge. The fuel filter was clogged up aswell. When I start the car it has a surge if I just barely tap the gas it dies... I dont know how to read the codes from the dash and I still havent had time to hook my turbolink to it.
 
If you still have the original injectors that are either burnt/dirty/ clogged/ leaking can cause the surge/stallling.
I bought my all original T w/ 126k and the RPMs went up and down from 1500 to almost stalling until it warmed.
Swapped in some new injectors and it purred like a kitten.
 
MAF, IAC-TPS (More than likely the MAF Though) or a huge vacuum leak. ...
If you do have to replace the MAF make sure you get a translator and upgrade to a LS1 maf system.....
 
what chip is in the car? also, just check it and make sure that it is seated correctly and not damaged. dont throw parts at it. one thing at a time. x10 on the scan tool, get one a s a p. car should be giving you MAL codes, find it, the car will tell you whats going on. keep the info coming.
