Air actuator for stock location intercooler scoop

I have heard that Red Armstrong has an air actuated intercooler scoop. The air cylinder extends outward at 10psi and has a spring return. I am looking for info as to where I might find something like this.

hmmmmm....sounds kinda like a stock wastegate actuator.....

Or you could look at www.mcmastercarr.com for a small pneumatic cylinder.

Why wouldn't you just leave it open as much as you can all the time?

Hmm- wastegate actuator could work..I'll have to see if there is enough travel. I might have to give Red a call. Thanks.

Salvage: I don't like to leave it open on the steet in case I hit something. If I'm racing it is usually on flat ground and I like to lower it all the way, which is about 3" from ground. I have ran the car both ways and It makes a BIG difference if the scoop is wide open.
