Hello All,
well here goes the problem, my car has been a big headache for a while and these sites have helped me greatly with searches which have fixed a lot of problems. I have a 1983 buick regal t-type with a 1985 gn motor. It is a fresh motor balanced zero deck and ported heads. I do have a big cam in it, gn110t from postons. I have updated fuel set up and regultor. I also have msd 50's and a casper 7 position chip. It has a 9" k&n filter and a bunch of more crap I have done to it. It finaly running good and the turbo seems to be kicking in nice. I give it a quarter pedal of gas and the tire is spinning nicely. I am having a problem with geting it tuned properly, I try to adjust the iac and tps and I have them both in the range that I want them and the idle jumps up and down, vacuum guage jumps from 20 to 13 and the iac jumps from a range of 15 to 225. I have the tps set at.40 and I have checked for leaks and I find nothing except for a possible leak between the turbo and the intake, maybe the upper o-ring is letting air by or sucking it in. I don't know if that is the problem or should I be looking for something else. I have had this turbo off and on the car probably 10 times and getting a little sick of it. I guess I am asking does anyone know if this could be the problem, I know it is not a vacuum hose because they are all new. If anyone has any insight please let me know.Thanks Frank
