air shocks anyone?

After 15 years of owning my 87 T, I've noticed I have air shocks. It really looks to be a factory installed setup. Have any of you guys ever heard of these cars having them? Just curious. Thanks, Tim

I am surprised that you did not notice them early on after you bought the car. How did you
notice that you have them, by stumbling across the valve where you put the air in? Do they
still hold air? All of the cars I've owned with air shocks leaked after a few years.

Switched wheels recently and followed the line to the trunk. If you didn't know where the valve was, you'd never find it. They hold air for a little while but they leak more than I'd like. I'm replacing them soon.
