Ajustable wastegate installation... Help

OK.. so I have all the stuff to make the wastegat actuator rod adjustable. So, how do I get the rod off to thread it? I know to remove the clip but what about removing the diaphram?

Remove the whole unit. I think it's just the clip, 2 bolts, and the boost line. Then put it in a vice, cut and thread.
