I've been doing a little tuning these past few days & I think I'm gaining on it, would just like some opinions if I'm going in the right direction...

I'm running the smc single nozzle & 93 octane.

Fuel Pressure @ 41
Boost @ 25
Alchy pump speed @ 8
Egt's top of 3rd are @ 1650 % o2's are in the 750 range
At idle blm's are 130
I have my extender chip @ 23/21 timing & the only other adjustment I've made is to go 4% lean @ wot.

My egt's were @ 1700 when I had my extender set @ 2% lean @ wot, so I'm wondering if I should lean it out to 6%@ wot or possibly try & lower fuel pressure & turn pump speed up to 10?

No... 1700 for EGT's is too high. If you get any KR it will spike it even higher and Kaboom. 1600-1650 would be ok.

They're @ 1650 now after adjusting the wot fuel from 2% to 4% lean @ wot. Just wondered if I should go ahead & set it for 6% lean @ wot & see if egt's go down closer to 1600?

How can the EGT go down when you lower your fuel pressure without upping the alky ? Is it due to more alky contra gas ?

Daniel

Did your mph increase when you went from -2% to -4% wot fuel?
If so then keep adding alky and taking away wot fuel.
With extender and t-plus you can leave fuel pres at recomended setting

These #'s I got were out on an open highway away from any towns & no traffic, so not sure about the mph gain or loss. I plan on going to an 1/8 mile track within the next couple of weeks & get some real time data. Seat of the pants I feel no difference, the car feels really fast. I went ahead & set my wot fueling to 6% lean, upped the alchy pump speed to 8.5 & still saw 0 knock, but egt's still remained around 1650.
