Anyone try a small fuel cell for alky? I have thoughts of doing this to get the alky storage out from under the hood. A small fuel cell in the trunk for alky would be nice. Get it away from the heat and also can hold more juice.

You have a small fuel cell already.. it holds a gallon.

Metco made a 6 gallon cell that would fit in the spare tire area. Your pump would need to be mounted outside of the vehicle in any case.

If you did a fuel cell over the rear axle, you could leave the pump where it is. As long as the pump is lower than the tank, it will always have liquid.

Or mount the pump under the rear seat area.

Cost of doing a cell in trunk is pricey. Fuel cell is 100-125 plus mounting brackets(35-40), bulkhead fitting(15), low level sender(35), hardware(10), bulkhead for vent(15), SS breather vent(15), and then hose 20 feet of feed SS braided meth compatible(140.00).. and hose for vent(20). Then time and labor.

Sounds good to me. I would like to keep my spare tire area open for when I want to carry a spare so can we do a square one?

Call me. Keep it off list.

Thanks

Julio
