So I'm thinking I want to put Alky on my T Type... I found a nice simple kit I want to get and use. My question is what is the best place to spray?? I know they say its best not to spray before the turbo but it seems that would be the best location. I don't know how I would but it after the turbo because of the location and space. Ideas? or who else has done this before (use alky)? Thanks! Adam

Probably a nozzle in each side of the back of the intake as the intake is split up from the factory.

exactly!!!!

Just finished doing my friends car. It DOES require removing the intake which most people aren't willing to do.

I put it in the turbo to intake adapter. I drilled the hole right in line with the splitter on the intake to make sure it sprayed evenly. Works great, 25 psi with no issues on a 49.

X2 HERE. Why make things complicated. Brad

Thanks for the input guys.... I was hoping I could go "pre turbo" for the sake of ease but nothing is ever easy with a turbo Buick

There are some links in the sticky on this.
A search will also give you some answers/ideas.

With all the twists and turns in the stock intake, you need to go in the back on both sides or youre going to have puddling. There's no way to avoid it as the air makes a lot of twists and turns inside that intake.

Jay,
Are you suggesting in back before the runners, or in the plenum?

You can see where the one fitting is in this picture. I'd put a nozzle there and one in the same spot on the other side.
