Wondering what you guys are doing when your at the track and doing your burnouts to not get alky flowing. Also when staging above 5lbs? Im guessing just set alky to come on later?

If you're having problems with launching or spooling the turbo, I believe the purple wire in the Alkycontrol kit can be grounded through a switch to shut off the alky when you stage with either the foot brake or transbrake.

I haven't tried it myself yet but I may do some experimenting with it.

Most likely the alky is not even coming in at the brunout stage. You also have to remember that the system is "progressive". Even though it may start coming in early(5 psi) it is directly proportional to the MAp sensor voltage reading. The higher the boost the more alky is being injected. You should have no issues launching the car with alky injection. If you do, more than likely you are just to rich with fuel on the bottom end or have converter issues.

Juilo while chime in and tell you exactly whats going on.

What boost are you launching at and is the green light on?
+1 on the tune and purple wire.

I have never hooked up the alky wire and I have launched my car at about 20psi...Alky comes on at 5 psi, never had a problem.

When the system comes on, it sprays at very low pressure. If anything.. it helps to prime up the system so no harm.

If your car is getting very rich when it sprays, time to drop some fuel pressure and look at your tuneup.

All the posts above are correct.
