alky and distilled water

Im pretty sure you can, But you need to use the Lubricated Methanol..unlike the newer external pumps that require the non-lubricated.

I currently am running straight denatured with a splash of Klotz upper cylinder lubricant. Just wondered if the 50/50 mix would be of any advantage, or if there are any detrimentel side effects of running this. Thanks.

Definately no advantage except less cost. You wont get the same cooling effect.

I tried mixing h2o with my older kit a long time ago. My first time running it the pump broke internally. Coincidence, I don't know. But, I won't be trying it agian.

Anyone know or have tried straight Ethanol racing fuel, andif it would work in place of meth, I have access too it for about two bucks a gallon, the octane rating is about 114 with upper lube already added.

No water with that style of pump. For clarification, contact Steve at SMC.

Razor is correct 100%. It will work but it causes the pump to rust and it is a matter of time before it goes south.
