alky control install ??

I dont like the look of boxes all over dash. I want to fab up a plate and mount control box in asytray compartment. It looks like the cable wont be long enough. It also looks like its just computer cable, can I just put in a coupler and run extra line??

I believe a cat 5 extension cable will not work because they rotate the wire orientation. I tried a short 1foot extension and it did not work.

just get a cat5e coupler and cat5e cable and you can extend it

Ok, I bought the Cat5e patch cord with the coupler on one end. It says crossover, that must be why it won't work?
