I'm new to the concept, and will be using the SMC kit in a 1990 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a ford 3.8 supercharged v6, max boost is around 13-15lbs. A few people (GN owners) have told me that they had problems running alcohol injection in the hot weather. Is this true, or common? Also, what about cold weather such as a 30 degree day in November/December, my track is still open during those months.

I dont know what they are referring to. The only issue is fueling. If you dial in your car in July when it is hot, you need to add fuel in November when it is cooler and the air is much denser, or else you will lean out. The reverse also applies

MUST BE REFERRING TO THE SMC KIT AS I ALWAYS READ ABOUT PROBLEMS WITH ADJUSTABILITY. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH MY DIY KIT. JUST HAVE TO CHANGE THE POINT AT WHICH I START SPRAYING THE ALCOHOL. MINE COMES ON AT ABOUT 10LBS NOW BUT IN WINTER I'LL HAVE TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS.
