Can some one direct me to a thread that give info on how to apply the alky kit thanks. tried searching but didnt help!

O I thought it was different places to run it and wanted to know the beat I don't have mine yet. Which one is better to go with the razor alky kit or alky kit. Also ally injection just allow u to just run more boost? Or what else does to do?

The best kit that I know of is the Razor Kit. I have one installed and all it does is allow more boost without knock on 93 octane. The alky is only used once 5lbs boost and higher is experienced. Brad

I found a kit but they only supply for an 86/87 but they say it would work with some minor modifications. So do you know what needs to be done or needed?

Im pretty sure its all the same. Only difference is the turbo adapter is where the nozzle goes. Everything else such as the 3 Bar, and wiring should all be the same. But someone more experienced should know better than me.

The 3 Bar is needed for boost over levels of 15? I can't really remember the exact numbers. But it is probably a wise decision if Razor's kit includes it. He has the system down pat from what I can tell,

To run alky on a hotair car you will need...

A solenoid that gets activated when your pump turns on. This is because you will be plumbing the alky hose into an area of constant vacuum (after the throttle body). Julio sells these as well and all the adapters you will need. You must be careful with the solenoid when screwing in the brass fittings as the break very, very, very easily and at $40 a pop I dont know how many you want to buy. The solenoid keeps the motor from sucking the alcohol out of the tank. I dont know if razor's newer style pumps need these or not. I would probably install one to be on the safe side.

The solenoid goes inline after the pump but before the nozzle and I wired my solenoid to open with the red and black wires going to the pump from the alky controller.

Just my thoughts,

Jerry jr.

Do you have a pic of how you did the solenoid? Also does the kit come with alcohol already or you have to purchase that seperate? Also with the Over flow tank being used for the kit, what do you do with the line running from the radiator that ran to the overflow tank?

The kit comes with a smaller overflow tank that you hook up to the radiator. As for Alky, I am sure he does not send alcohol with the kit. It's pretty cheap, get some at the store.

ok what kind of store would i purchase the alcohol at? does the alcohol go in the pump on in the tank because the pump was a lil wet for some reason?
