I just bought a kit from Julio and I am just completeing the installation. The kit installation was easy.I was just can't seem to find a good location for the overflow tank. Also what is a good turn on point for the pump.any suggestions? BTW JULIO is great guy to deal with ,The kit seems to be good quality as well !

Well on cars with single fans, mount it on the single fan shroud is an easy. On the dual fan cars, I usually mount it in the area between the battery and core support at an 45 degree angle.

I have customers who have mounted it on the drivers side by the air filter area, and I have seen it mounted to the IC plumbing going to the front mount using long wire ties.

Some will hide it completely out of sight in the core support area. Its a personal preference deal.

The internal controls are preset for a 4-5 PSI turnon, leave those alone.. give it a try. You'll be amazed how close :)

Me and Lunkan did the alky install yesterday. You have a great product Julio!

The battery was to big to set up my owerflow tank on its supposed place, so we put it near the AC package at the passenger side.

Btw Julio... I dont know if its a leak in the system or if I spray to much. We dialed in it fast, so it didnt knock... But the turn on point is around 13-14 psi now, is that to late ? I also has the blue flowing knob on 2 oclock.

Is it normal that the whole expansion tank shall be emty after 250 miles of driving on highway ? Ok, I putted the throttle down pretty much sometimes :)

I dont know how much PSI I am driving, cause there is some leak in my new boost gauge. Its at least over 20 psi with a TA49. Before I could have 2 degrees of knock with stock turbo on 19 psi, now nothing with a TA49 and 20 psi +!!! Amazing!

You can run the turnon point at any level and it will still be progressive. Its a personal preference deal. The higher the turnon, the more likely you'll get knock early. Thats why I set them to 5 PSI approx.

The internal controls in the box shouldnt of needed too much tweaking, actually for 20-22 PSI, they probably didnt need touching. Contact me via email and i'll give you the procedure to reset them to factory preset.

If you have the initial control opened up, you will go through a lot of alcohol. Remember you only need enough to control knock, not any more. It is possible to go through a tank in 20 minutes.. just depends on how hard you drive the car. Typical consumption is 6-8 ounces per 1/4 miles pass.. so if you raced the car at high boost for 10 minutes, you could in theory empty the tank in 10 miles of driving :) I just drove 1600 miles and was on the throttle occasionally, consumed less than a gallon.

Careful on the leaky guage, I had a customer who thought he was running 24 PSI and was actually running 30+ PSI.. he was a little shocked when he realized how much boost he was running.

Regards to Andreas.
