alky kit

I want to get a alky kit for my turbo regal, my 86 t-type is pretty much all stock except the 42.5lb injectors and a high perf fuel pump also 3in down pipe and stretched stock location ic....is there any precautions i should take when installing an alky kit, or max boost i can set???

I'd get razor's kit along with an alky chip from turbotweak, pick a boost level and hang on!!!! Go ahead and give this great thread a quick read:

I've had luck with 22lbs! No knock, O2's are safe...

+1 on alkycontrol excellent fit and customer support. Make sure your car is running in tip top shape and that u have some sort of scantool. Then your all set. Turn up the boost sit down shut up and hold on!

scanmaster will work but i would go with a powerlogger and lc-1 if you can afford it

I'm very happy with my SMC alky kit. It's a little cheaper on price too.

o also as far as boost. the question is how far do you want to push it. i have run up to 28psi on 91 and alky but i wouldnt do that to much. just make sure you dont get any knock and you should be fine. on a low milage motor i dont like to run more then 20psi on alky and 91 but on a higher milage motor i wouldnt mine running around 22-25. its up to you.
