Alky Problems

Yesterday while driving the TR I noticed the alky did not start pumping at the 6lbs that it normally starts. I pressed the test button, Alky Injection turned on as well as the red LED. Just to make sure, I even took it up to around 13lbs boost and nothing turned on. No red LED nor the Alky Injection. Went through all the wiring and it looks good. I know I'm missing something simple.

I'm sure glade I caught it on the streets and not the track.

Any help would be cool. :redface:

If your MAP line is fine.. get a voltmeter and check to see if you get 1.6 on the Green wire "Key ON".. if you dont.. there's your problem.

Make sure you have zip ties on all your boost lines.. and always test.. this is how problems are avoided.

You can always call during the day.

That was it. I checked the map wire and it was fine. Looked at the vaccum line runn ing into the map and seen that line off. Plugged that back up and alky was on. :biggrin: You gotta love that Alky!!

If it popped off.. in needs a new line + zip ties. Dont scimp on a 2.00 hose. Just buy some vacuum tubing and run a line straight from MAP to the port on the intake. Ziptie both ends.

You got lucky this time.. now fireproof it.
