OK guys, I'm an old big block guy. I know what makes them go fast. My TTA is like working on a jet airplane compared to my 455 car. Im getting the hang of it, but I am trying to decide on which of the following I want to add to my car. Can someone here outline each:

Alcohol:

Nitrous:

Propane:

Tell what each does well.....not so well....benefits... cost differential etc.

Are a lot of you running nitrous? If not....why not. Cost?

Thanks in advance.

Most of us dont run nitrous because we have a turbo and its free. Why bother refilling bottles when all you have to do is turn up the turbo? There are a couple die hard bottle guys here, you should talk to them to see why they like it.

alcohol and propane do the same thing, just is slightly different ways. Propane can be injected earlier than alcohol, making it easier to tune supposedly, and it is better at reducing the "flash" knock that occurs when you punch the gas. It also costs more than twice as much to get started in propane, but the long term costs are less.

Lots of posts on which is better, you need to read for yourself and decide for yourself. Propane is still new to us, and I am sure in the coming years it will get better and better
