Almost a kill

A buddy of mine calls and has just finished a turbo civic for a friend. Tells me that it has around 400hp at only 9psi of boost, ok...so. He invites me out to the track for a little racing. Well I couldn't get off of work so I told him to bring it by later that night and we'll see what she can do. I waited and waited and he never shows....hmmm? Well the next day he comes over and I said hey what happend to the 400hp Honda? With a sad face he say "Well it only ran 14.1, didn't think you wanted to waste the fuel."

Not much of a kill story but thought it was cool he had enough respect for the Buick not to waste my fuel.

Your friend may want to check that dyno out.
But I like that he knew not to waste your time.

Hey Let me know the next time you head to Oceola, I take it thats the track you were talkin about. I was there a couple weeks ago but left the GN home 96 degrees that day. I need to go down the track and test out the new alky setup when it gets here, Marty. Oh Ill keep an eye out for that civic
