Well theres a guy in town with a early 90's 5.0 coupe with a 306 an Vortech T-trim.. Whenever we I have seen him @ the track he's never in his car an i'm never in mine.. He knows I like Tr's an has seen me in them in the past. Last time I saw him he tells me heres theres a guy in town suppost to have a pretty stout white Tr. I said I had heard about him an that his car was beautiful.. He doesn't know that its me... ;) So a couple of weeks ago I saw him rolling thru part of town an I just happen to have gotten mine out for a short spin an I made a u-turn to ck him out.. Roll up beside him an he's looking over @ me i'm in the left lane an you can see the passenger like pointing an geting excited.. I give him a lil jump around 35 mph an he bites but i slow down for upcoming traffic.. Finally we get to where there are no cars an rolling around 45-50 mph I decide to leave him.. Only to find that in a quickness my car gets sideways to the point that I start to spin in the oppposite direction.. Needless to say after checking my pants an pulling into a service station nearby where he comes back to check an make sure everything is cool an to say man you must be making some serious power.. Lesson learned about showing out on the st. as I rarely just cruise around.. My car has never spun sideways witht he wheels straight, turned yes but never straight.

Yes theses LC2's are deceiving I know my car makes some serious power but i'm never hot footing it all the time to keep that in mind I mostly just get it out every blue moon an cruise around for about 20 min an put it back up for a while.. Now that I got the tranny locking up "thought it was the TCC solenoid but after 2 solenoids an more tranny fluid then I ever care to see again it was the valve sticking in place above the solnoid " that was a real headache to figure out.. I'm gonna try the new MT DR's in 275/60 as theses Nitto's are not that great in my opinion.. I hate to see what this car will do from a roll with theses 20's on it.. A 40 series sidewall has got to be bad news.. :frown:

Ive found the nittos to be worse then regular tires in the cold  but this is just with my car and with it making alot more power that cant help lol... If you just drive the car every now and then the MT's are nice but they do wear preety quickly  But the nittos on my car are fine during the warmer weather or by doing a small burnout to heat them up attlie

Ive done the same thing... racing a Mustang from a stop though. Good thing I yanked him out of the hole and was in front cause when I slammed 2nd the ass end of my car was pitching left into his lane, almost sideways, got it straight and at that point in time I made my decision to ALWAYS have at a set of DRs on the rear of the SS.
