also have a 2-3 flair

ok I just had my tranny rebuilt by my mechanic. All other shifts feel good but the 2-3 shift flairs at WOT and when engaging is very soft. Also when driving normal under light throttle it winds out the 2-3 way to long to a little over 3000rpms and it feels like it just revs till it hits 3rd. What could be a cause of this? Like stated before the 2-3 also feels very soft.

. I took it out to double check and it winds 2nd to right at 3000 rpms. Is this normal/ anything i can do to help it? It has the ck shift kit in it without the servo. So i ordered the servo in hopes of making it shift better. Any other ideas about what the problem might be?

Sorry for all the posts but this is pissing me off. Ok if i just accelerate normal it wants to shift the 1-2 at 2200-2300 and the 2-3 from 2500-2700rpm. But iam talking about just crusing normal. It just feels like a natural feeling at the top of the gears before it shifts. sorry, I am trying to describe the problem in the most detail i can. I also ordered the CK servo as i have the rest of the shift kit in it already in the hopes that this will help. N/M the above post i watched it very close on the scan tool and these are more accurate shift points.

Is the TV cable properly adjusted and the Fluid at the right level ??

If they are and the transmission is behaving like this then you may have to drop the pan and make sure the valve body, spacer plate and gasket are installed properly and the check balls are in the right place.

Replacing the servo, but also make sure the bore is clean and in good shape and that the pin is intact too.
