What are you using for the install of the output bushing in the small GM 27 spline transmissions when a particular case / tailhousing is being problematic?

I have this: E-Z Extension Housing Bushing Tool | Remove and Install GM, Ford and Chrysler Extension Housing Bushing | A to Z Tool

On a tailhousing with a large oil groove, the bushing is distorting into that area. Those without the grooves aren't an issue.
Both Clevite 01755 (teflon) and 02270 (bronze dimpled i.d.) are problematic.

Do you have hands-on with the S8673C1 and a measurement of the o.d.? Is that the ultimate solution here?

Atec sells separate driver puller combo for 1 & 5/8 C6 apps.
No word back from SchnapOn.

Snap-On finally called back and indicated o.d. as 1.496" with i.d. as 1.494".

I already got something lathe-turned from steel pipe so whatever.
