I recently bought a 120 amp alternator from a GN guy locally. It's from an 86, and has a four-prong connector. I have an 84 Limited with the stock alternator (109 amp, I think...) and I was going to swap the alternators to make up for my CD changer, amp, etc., but my alternator has a two-prong connector. The wiring diagram I have shows an extra relay on the 86-87s that isn't on the 82-85s, hence double the wires on the new one. Any ideas as to how I might fabricate a relay and graft it in? Or should I just try to find an older alternator? I got a really good deal, I'd hate to spend a bunch of money now...
