Alternator Rebuild

Anyone know where I can get an alternator rebuild kit?

I don't know about a kit, but you can get brushes, diodes and bearings at your local parts store reasonably cheap. A new voltage regulator made by AC Delco costs alot, about $50. It is a different part number from the rest of the alternators on the 3.8 carbed cars and 307 V8s. You also have to solder leads onto the new regulator that are removed from the old unit.

On the Turbobuicks.com web page, they have a 200 amp kit for about $75. I have it in my car and it works very well.
