Aluminum core support

I've heard rumors of aluminum core supports and bumper mounts but where can I find them? What years and which make were they on? Anyone know the weight savings?

Aluminum core supports save 13 to 15 lbs. Some (very few) 78 to 80 Gran Prixs, Buick Centuries, Lemans.

If you mean bumper re-enforcements in lieu of steel ones, they can be found on random 81 thru 87 Regals. I'm sure you can buy a set in the parts wanted section. I just let a set go to the crusher.
