Aluminum fuel cell for alky.

If you are not supposed to use aluminum fittings with alky how are guys running aluminum fuel cells with alky? Will this not cause a problem? Who here is running aluminum fuel cell with there alky and are there any issues? Thanks

Aluminum can corrode. If the piece is anodized or powdercoated it should be fine.

If they are running bare alum. Without anodizing then more power to them. I wouldn't risk it, personally.

I run a Racetronix 5 gallon aluminum anodized cell in the trunk for the last 2 years with no issues
