It seems there's some problem getting replacement aluminum master cylinders if you've changed to vacuum brakes. Most parts houses are only carrying cast iron units. These are heavy and unsightly. If you need a master cylinder, or would like to keep an extra on hand, and would rather stay with an aluminum unit, I can supply one for $35 shipped. If you'd like an additional B-Body master cylinder, which also works fine, I'll sell both for $55 shipped. These are used units. ;)

G-body Master Cylinder for Vacuum Brakes ... $35 shipped

Add a B-body unit to your order ... $55 for both units ...SHIPPED.

John,

Do they make a rebuild kit for the aluminum master?
How is the one you have? I have one, but might like a spare.

Hi Mike, I have a lot of them. I check them before I remove them. If the pedal is hard, that means they are good. I've recently become aware that most replacements sold from parts stores are cast iron. Personally, I'd hate to use a cast iron unit because of appearance. ;)

Thanks John !!

got the vac assy, and gaskets. looks good !
will get it installed this week,
BIG THANKS !!!!!
