If you buy an aluminum radiator, be sure and order any adaptor fittings necessary. You will not find the fittings at your local hardware or auto parts store. Learn what npt, sae etc type threads are. Tube bender for tranny line may come in handy also.
Still working on it. Speed shop has fittings.
 All play to me though !

I ordered an aluminum radiator, but have not put it in yet. Waiting for motor rebuild. My question is do you use the radiator as an oil cooler, or transmission cooler? I have a turbo saver on the car and I don't think the oil is passing thru the radiator now(I haven't looked), should it be, or if everything is alright just go ahead and use it as a trans cooler? Suggestions?

Dequick and others have suggested using radiator as tranny cooler. BeCool aluminum radiators have both coolers. I still opted for Tony's radiator. Had good references.

It's the best cooling. I use the radiator for the tranny.

Being that it is a three pass radiator, there is no room for two coolers.

update

After much searching for the right fittings, I discovered a "Hose/ Fittings specialty shop. Look in the yellow pages under Hoses. The shop made a hose with the correct fittings that looked like it came from the factory in 10 minutes. AND - It was cheaper than the fittings alone at the local speed shop( that ultimately did not work). This type shop will make AC hoses etc. for a fraction of the cost vs a dealership price.

Now *There's* a man using his head.Congratulations.They do carry quite a stock of stuff,don't they?Hooking up a new fuel system?No sweat.Need a spare gauge hooked up?No sweat.Speed shops.......thpppppt!!!Overpriced garbage.Have fun.:D
