Nice! Thanks for sharing those.
Nope. Havent even driven it since unloading it off the trailer after the return from NC. I havent upgraded my FAST software yet. I have the solenoid to control boost ready to connect when the XFI gets updated. After that I will ease into tuning at about 18-19psi until I feel all is well and start turning it up. If it grenades again I am not sure what I will do.Thanks Bryan. Seems like Im not even close.
Did you make it down the track yet?
Tonight we made some good progress. We solved the steam hole issue that they talk about. This engine came with block offs in the back so the choice was find a newer setup or do our own thing. I decided to drill and tap out the holes to 1/8th npt. Then i did all hardlines. Turned out pretty nice for a home made deal. Drilled and tapped the water pump....seems like that is the most popular spot to take all the lines.
I saw that and almost bought it. But I'm a little over budget at the moment and did the DIY route instead.Kurt Urban Performance makes a nice kit for the steam holes.
