Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen

Well tonight is the fight, who do you guys pick? I think Silva will KO him in the 1st or 2nd. However I will be rooting for Sonnen as im sick of Silva acting like such a punk!

I hope Sonnen wins but I'm afraid he's in for a beat down.

One thing you can bet on, though, is that Dana White loves the guy for the job he has done selling this fight. Hopefully he is getting paid accordingly.

Sonnen hasn't been knocked out but he has been TKO'd with cuts. Maia and Leites went 5 rounds with him and Cote went 3 til his knee gave out. I think Chael can win BUT he has been subbed 6 times. Andy's limbs are long and skinny and perfest for submissions.

I hope Chael wins because Andy just isn't likeable...

I just seen Sonnen on TV talking smack about Silva and saying he's going to get him down and pound a hole in his head and retire him.

That is a for sure way to get Silva ready for the fight,i hope Sonnen is ready for him.

And the winner is Silva.

I've only read about the fight and it appears Sonnen beat Silva up for the first 4 rounds and was doing the same in the fifth when Silva slipped a triangle choke on him and he tapped out.

silva got manhandled by sonnen. i was not expecting that at all. great fight, im still stunned, cant believe silva pulled that off in the fifth.

Easily the fight of the year so far.
I am not a fan of either fighter but found myself
hoping for a changing of the guard.
Chael was destroying Anderson but I was really concerned
with how much time Chael spent is Anderson's guard.
I called the triangle in the 3 round and he got him with it in the 5.
It was amazing to watch.

The reason / excuse of the rib problem at the end was not needed though...

I think Chael had won the mental war going into the fight but as much as I don't care for Andy he did what true champions do...
