Do you see this crap about the President's campaign ad touching on the 9/11 tragedy? These people have no issues to talk about. It's really pathetic. If 9/11 wasn't mentioned, they'd accuse the President of being ashamed of his performance. If you can't see through the democrats pathetic attempts to demonize the President, you need a shrink!

They gotta do something to keep the folks from realising Kerry put himself in for those medals, so that he could get an early ride home.

4 medals in just a couple months and no one else in his unit got any?. LOL, what a joke. The reason he threw medals onto the White House Lawn, IMO, is because they didn't mean anything to him. If he'd actually earned them, he'd acted very different, again in my opinion.

Read my lips. He "promised" that he would not use the attacks for political gain" I guess when your sinking like a rock anything goes.

The only real thing sinking here is our country.:( If a Democrat gets back in office, we are going to be in trouble.

That is interesting ! When the democrats were in office the country was in good shape 4 years of Bush and it is sinking, now if the democrats get in office" we are going to be in trouble." I think we are in trouble now. Do you think this country is in better shape now than it was four years ago? Me neither and that was with just four years of Bush, whats going to happen if he is elected to another term? I shudder to think about that one.

What makes you think the country is in the crapper? Things were going bad while Clinton was still in office, then 9-11, and now we have recovered most of what was lost in the market and jobs. Now, I'm not going to be one of these Kool-Aid drinkers and not critizise because I don't agree with EVERYTHING the Republicans have done, but what have the Dems done? Other than complain how bad things are of course and that doesn't help anyone.

Randy,

Your head just seems to be out of place. I checked your profile and can't see a Buick in there anywhere. If you have one, aren't your proud of it? Don't you feel proud about something? Do you not feel connected to the rest of the country? "Mainstream" America is Republican and likes it. One look at the Red/Blue map shows it.

The media, the DNC and cantidates have been pushing the issue of America's response to 9-11 all along. Now you say the president can't.

Tell us over the last 40 years of a Democratic program that reduced the tax load on the American families. Taxes on unemployment. Taxes on Social Security. Where did those come from? President Clinton ran on a promise of "middle class" tax cuts,,,,,seems like I'm hearing that again,,,,,,,they never came.

Tell us over the last 40 years of a Democratic program that made any improvement in minority education. The cities are the whole base of democratic voting. Spending is double and triple in the Blue zones over what is spent in the Red zones.........and they get worse every year. In larger cities less than 40% of blacks and hispanics will graduate this year.

Tell us over the last 40 years of a Democratic program that has supported the family unit of father, mother and children. The demoratic party doesn't believe a child needs both a mother and father. Do I need to go look for the number of kids now growing up in single parent homes and how that has changed over the last 40 years? There is a lot research on the lifelong impact for the kids.

Tell us over the last 40 years of a Democratic program that increased the energy supply of this country. Our largest reserves of hard/low sulfer coal were put into federal parks during your wonder age of the mid-90's (without congressional action) and now democrats are blocking access to our largest reserves of crude and natural gas.

Tell us over the last 40 years of a Democratic program that increased our national security and made us stronger. I can tell you first hand how it felt to be in the military under Presidents Ford, Carter, Regan, Bush and Clinton. Just go as your local American Legion post who THEY respect.

Tell us over the last 40 years of a Democratic program that reduced the cost of health care. The complete blockage of tort reform has made suing the health care providers an entire industry in itself.

But I am very sure you can provide us a very long list of splinter groups supported, apologized to, coddled, begged for votes, legislation provided for..........You need every one of those groups to even have a chance. You can't have any moral standards because it would alienate votes you can't afford to lose.

It used to be a proud party, but the Demoratic party is now a group of unhappy crying whiners. Who wants to be a part of that?

It's a shame that, for the democratic leaders, the only thing that is important is to be in power. The country be damned. It's downright treasonous. The DNC knows that without security, there is no economy or anything else. But, they go on their way, complaining about just about anything the President does pointing out anything they can turn around. Then, the sheep, who must be too dumb to think for themselves, echo all the rediculous untruths the democrat machine can think up. It's a shame they can't figure out that it's all about the security of this country.

Funny how an economy was was so bloated under Clinton, finally burst (all the tech stocks that ended up worthless????) and now Bush is being blamed for the economy and jobs. Just look at what happens when the Dems have power, did Clinton even have a foreign policy???? Unfortunately, GW has been cleaning up after the mistakes the Dems made and trying to get the country running how it should have been all along. Now there are people saying he isn't doing a good job, think you could do better, how about Gore??????

Economy....stock market returning to 2000 levels, before it started to fall....under President Clinton.

Jobs.......the highest number of people employed in history.

Education.....the highest level of federal spending in history.

And the DNC is using those for attacks. How is that supposed to work?

But it does seem I haven't heard a word about those shrinking 401k plans.....which are growing again.

"Jobs.......the highest number of people employed in history."

because the people that produce these facts simply compare how many people were employed one year to how many people are employed now. they to not add in the fact that the population GROWS.
but if you look at the actual unemployment rate compared to the natural unemployment rate, this would imply that we still have quite a way to go before things are peachy.

"Education.....the highest level of federal spending in history."

could it be that because there are the most people in history at this given moment, it costs more to educate them? hmm... we have overfull classrooms, people on waiting lists for classes at comunity college...this would indicate that education has highest level of spending because it obviously costs more to educate more people.

where do you get these "facts" from?

they are awfully one sided.

Bush is going to go. People will not stand for this religious zealot and his nazi like government. These are the people regulating the airwaves, TV, taking Stern off the air. Ashcroft is spending hundreds of thousands of YOUR tax dollars trying to shut down the adult entertainment industry. Everyone in here complains about the moderaters in here imposing their control yet you don't worry about your rights to listen, read and watch what you want?
WAKE UP! Wont even get into the highest gas prices in history, unemployment (you think its at a good rate:rolleyes: ), health care, etc, etc, etc

But with Bush in, soon you won't even be able to express your views in here, so enjoy it while it last.

All the things your talking about, Clinton had eight years to fix. He was tellin' ya' he was fixin' things but he was occupied otherwise. I agree, I'd like to have some kind of health care. I don't know why politicians don't care that you can get wiped out financially with one illness. $100 each pills, are no exageration. Oh, your sick?.........well we'll just steal everything you ever saved. The dems are so much "for the people".........how come they don't do anything except lie.

"but if you look at the actual unemployment rate compared to the natural unemployment rate, this would imply that we still have quite a way to go before things are peachy"

Nope not "peachy" just pretty average compared to the last two decades. And it looks like continued improvement through the end of the year.

"they are awfully one sided"

This turns into a debate each time. Should I be required to argue both sides?

"this religious zealot and his nazi like government"

Nice words there. It may just about be time to label the Democratic party as the socialist commies they have been.

"you don't worry about your rights to listen, read and watch what you want?"

Yeah, right. Lets go back to the thought police days of politically correct from the 90s. Howard Stern has the right to say anything he wants. It looks like he is having a problem finding an employer to pay him for it. Being free to speak does not mean the rest of us have to support your venue. The market is turning and it is not toward the socialist outlook. The nazi claims are only going to increase. But it comes down to the point of a lot of people are just tired of the trash.

That is the normal socialist manner......when all else fails call them bad names. What next? Take off a shoe and pound the desk as you write?

Fact of the matter is this, government is taking away our rights one by one. I won't go through explaining this, READ THE NEWS.
If you don't think so, you've been exhaling too much hi octane vapors!
Im out.......

"Nope not "peachy" just pretty average compared to the last two decades. And it looks like continued improvement through the end of the year."

how can you compare a time where we were at full employment during the 90s to a time like now where we are above the natural rate of unemployment?

Bush didnt need to show a grave sight or bodies being pulled out of rubble to show his "leadership" skills. Remember that the resting place of 3000 people. I think if everyone lost a wife or child there that day there would be an argument it would be wrong period. We are in the worst deppression since hoover was in office. I cant remember the other president but only one and Bush were the only president to not have job growth during there term. I could go on and on for days about his imigration plans:mad:

Typical lefty. The ad protest is rediculous. Then, nothing but unsubstantiated statements about whatever. Are things really that bad? :D I don't think so.

I'm actually glad the Dems are focusing on the 9/11 portion (tiny as it is) of the ads. It gets people thinking about 9/11 and that's something FAR too many of us don't do enough of.

On a day when the Dems could've had a small victory (employment figures were released, not a positive for the Bush camp), they instead were bitchin' about the ads on TV. This will backfire on them BIG TIME!

GWB will get my vote in November and the vote of most other Americans who have their priorities in line. I don't agree with everything Bush does/did but if you don't have national security,
NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING else matters.

either way. if he getts re elected, those of you that defend his every action will soon see the points that dems and even a growing number of republicans are trying to make. unfortunately this realization will be at the expense of the country. :(
