Chapter 11, for debt reorganization. Basically the shareholders and creditors get hosed but the company remains in business

This sounds about like what Holley has gone thru. [More than once.]
A bankruptcy judge could order any of several solutions, depending on the arguments from the opposing side.

Interesting to note - an article in the latest "Hot Rod" about how to spot counterfeit MSD products. Must be a big problem for them.
