Another thing broke down today

My AC just cut off so I pull over and the fuse is blown. I took it out and put in a new fuse. Then I turned on the ac. Nothing not even a his so I look at the fuse and it melted in there, and to top it off my scanmaster is not reading the same as my speedometer. That is unless my car can accelerate to 148 in about 6 seconds from a stands under part throttle. I know I couldn't do that with an ACME rocket strapped to the rough. Is the wrong reading due to a bad VSS?

drawing too much amps and making **** read wrong-

unplug it under the hood and see if the scanmaster reads right

I would try that but i converted to vacuum month's ago. Got any other Idea's?
